    Most recepies that you would normally use red meat in, you can use venison in its place.  Venison is very lean with very little fat, which is good for people on restricted diets.   Hamburger's ground with 25% pork fat  will make the burger to hold together and taste better than one with no added pork.  Roasts can be cooked on the grill or oven but remember to check when almost done, not to overcook the meat.  The inside temperature should reach 163 dagrees to be cooked fully.
