In 2003 we started the Marsh Mill Ranch LLC Venison processing for hunters. In 2010 we also started processing Feeder/BBQ Pigs, Goats, and Sheep. You can purchase an animal and bring it to us for processing or we can get one for you. Call for quotes or if you have questions. All orders are labeled and vacuum sealed then refrigerated. You will be called to pick-up your order for maximum freshness. We will accept farm raised animals before and after the deer season for processing.
Don, Ed and Deb, along with our experienced staff of meat cutters, are continuing this 37 year family service to hunters and families. You can be sure that your Deer, Pig, Sheep, and Goats are in good hands at Marsh Mill Ranch LLC. Processing with Pride is our motto.
WE are a USDA CUSTOM EXEMPT processor.
When dropping off your Deer/Bear for processing, please have it properly field dressed and legally tagged. You are responsible for properly removing ALL the GUTS AND BUNG HOLE before bringing it to a processor. We then assign a processing number to each animal carcass, and a custom order form is filled out with your processing cut requests. You receive a copy before you leave with your processing number and completed order. Our custom cutting form follows each order throughout the processing of your deer.
New York State DEC biologists stop in to gather valuable information about the deer harvest during the hunting season. Information about the deers age, health, region of kill, antler measurements and number of points are gathered. This information is put into New York State reports for public reference in comparison to previous hunting seasons.
NO! After hours drop-off: Please do NOT drop off deer after we are closed. We will not be responsible.
We buy hydes: Bring in your raw deer skins for CASH! - We buy deer hydes at current market prices. Small, medium, and large are priced differently, and with not too many holes/cuts, or smelly hydes please. Bring in hydes before January 1st.
Picking up your order: When your order is ready WE will call you. You must pick it up within 24 hours or there could be a storage fee added to your order.
Vacuum Packing: We use a 3mil. commercial vacuum bag for ALL orders. Your order will be protected from freezer burn and won't leak while thawing. We'll vacuum seal and label your venison order. Ground venison orders are packaged in a labeled plastic stuffing 2 pound tubes.
Speciality orders: If you ordered Summer Sausage, Bologna, Hot Dogs, Pepperoni, Polish Sausage, Jerky or Snack Sticks, we start processing them after the busy season. These items are combined with other orders and made in a bulk batch.
